Hemingway and Hyperinflation: 17 Reasons to Trust Silver

Any writer who starts off with an Earnest Hemingway quote is doing something right. That’s exactly what SilverSeek contributor Gary Christenson did in his recent article about why Americans should be investing in silver.

In the article, he evokes the words of one of America’s most famous authors to cast light on how global politics and conditions are poised to make precious metals like gold and silver extremely valuable in the coming years.

Christenson states (via Hemingway) that he believes war and inflation are strong reasons to support silver:

“’The first panacea for a mismanaged nation is inflation of the currency; the second is war.  Both bring a temporary prosperity; both bring a permanent ruin.  But both are the refuge of political and economic opportunists.’  This was true before WWII and is just as true now.”

Christenson listed 16 other reasons why he trusts silver, including escalating tensions with Russia, the silver/dollar technicals and the central bank printing money.
