This beautiful 90 percent silver and 10 percent copper coin was minted for close to fifty years and was manufactured during some of America’s most historical times. Designer Adolph Weinman did a magnificent job with the front and back of this popular coin.

Front / Obverse

The beautiful and graceful Lady Liberty is on the front of the coin. The sun is rising on her left side while she is walking and holding an olive branch. The mint mark is on the obverse. Many collectors consider this the best designed coin in coinage history.

The beautiful bald eagle is perched on the reverse of this amazing coin. It was also designed by Weinman and continues to be an incredibly popular collector’s item.

HISTORY

This very popular collector’s item was minted from the years 1916 to 1947. The Walking Liberty design is considered to be one of the most beautiful coins ever made. This coin was manufactured during some of the most iconic times in history. These are very in demand and can range in cost anywhere from $10 into the thousands depending on the year of the coin.
