The back side of this copper coin is a unique design. It features a shield with “USA” printed in the middle. Beneath the shield are the words “One AVDP Ounce” as well as the year the coin was minted.

The history of the copper Walking Liberty coin is very short. Copper has been a highly valued metal for years – not because of its monetary value but because it can be used in a variety of industrial processes.
