Coin of the Month: 2018 Tuvalu Iron Man Silver Coin

According to comic book legends Stan Lee, Larry Lieber, Don Heck, and Jack Kirby, the character of Iron Man was created as a response to the Cold War. Inside Iron Man’s suit is the eccentric, ingenious scientist and inventor, Tony Stark. Stark became Iron Man after he was kidnapped and forced to develop weaponry for a terrorist organization. The Iron Man suit was his means of escape. After securing his freedom, Stark decides to improve this technology to help protect the world from evil.

In the latest Marvel and Avengers movies, Robert Downey, Jr. famously embodies Iron Man. And now, a brilliant silver coin has permanently imprinted Iron Man’s likeness on a coin for all time.
